Traditional Services

Supple Massage- Includes overview of horse, deep tissue massage, myofascial release, cross fiber work, stress point analysis and recommendations. This massage is a thorough deep tissue massage, focusing on your horses primary points of tension. Post-Massage report emailed or texted after every session.

Approximately 55-70 minutes

This traditional service includes a full body massage with stress point analysis. Which determines where your horse carries the most tension. I will focus on these trigger points and depending on your horses sensitivity, work towards a release. Each session builds upon the last and I adjust as your horse's training and needs change throughout the year.

Supple Package-  I recommend three sessions at a time, first to assess your horse and the other two allow me to really focus on those trouble spots. These sessions would be spaced out to allow your horse to recover before the following session. As a bonus purchasing the Supple Package saves you money!

Pre-Event Warmup Massage: Increases the circulation of blood to muscles, oxygenating them and creating a state of readiness in your horse's muscular system. Increasing joint motion by relaxing and warming up muscles. No deep tissue work, the massage is designed to warm up and wake up the muscles.

 Approximately 35 minutes

Post-Event Massage: Flushes out toxins and lactic acid stored in the muscles, helping them to return to a relaxed state. Helps towards a reduction in delayed onset muscle soreness (DOMS). No deep tissue work- Their muscles are already in a state of stress. Similar to the warm up, this massage incorporates long effleurage and relaxing strokes.

*Horse show services do not include emailed reports- You can however schedule a Supple Package if you plan on consistent treatments, or would like a report.

What is included

After each session a report detailing the massage will be emailed or texted. This will include a diagram showing stress points and provide detailed information about how the session went. These reports also give feedback on when a followup visit should be made. In addition, I keep my own copy of the report so that the next session; I will have a foundation on where to begin to further address your horses needs.

  Veterinary Approval

Please consult your Vet to be given the OK that your horse is in a condition to receive Equine Massage therapy. It is important to provide optimal care to your horse, Equine Massage does not take the place of Veterinary care and all horses need to be given approval to be worked on. Some injures or illnesses prevent equine massage from safely being preformed, it is important to maintain open communication with Supple Passage.
